I purchased the Hornet 553T Alarm w/ remote start, Dual Radar sensor 508D, and 516U Voice Add-On. I installed the system myself and have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Detail.

In my opinion, there are very few good alarm dealers left in the world as far as product support goes, but Dr. Detail really goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service.

They have a wealth of technical knowledge as they have years of installation experience, but they also have mastered the art of listening to a customer's problem, which many dealers just aren't capable of.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd recommend you to anyone purchasing an alarm system, whether it being a self-install, or you doing the installation.

After trying fruitlessly to deal with the "Best" electronics retailer in my area to get straight, informative answers from their 17 year old tech, I decided to take things on myself. This place was perfect. Almost immediately after placing my order, the order desk informed me that I may need alternate parts to get my remote starter installed, and they arrived on my doorstep the next day. I just got a newer car, a few weeks ago and installed a sound system in my car. When I bought the car it did not come with an alarm. So I checked the internet to find the best price, but what I found was the best site for car alarms. I am writing to inform you of the successful installation of the Hornet 564T. I had it installed 2-8-05, I enjoy the auto start and everything else this unit has to offer. Thank you for your patience with my concerns over the LED light, it was in the box I wasn't expecting it to be connected to the end of a wire OOPS!
